Meet The Insiders
Jerry brings 40 years of foodservice experience to the FoodService Insider working with all participants in the foodservice supply chain.
He worked with U.S. Foodservice for 22 years in all aspects of the distribution business including: Corporate National Accounts, Division President, VP of Sales, Accounts Payable and Receivables, Purchasing and Operations. Jerry also was a Division President for Food Services of America.
As VP of Corporate National Account Sales, Western Region, Jerry was key in developing programs for chains such as Marie Callender’s, Restaurants Unlimited, Cheesecake Factory, Claim Jumper and Wolfgang Puck’s. Jerry was responsible for over 1,000 National Account Programs. Jerry also was involved in mergers and acquisitions for US Foodservice.
Jerry’s family has over 400 combined years of foodservice distribution experience that dates back to 1911. Jerry is, and has been, actively involved in various restaurant industry associations. Jerry is an Alumnus of the University of Oregon. “Go Ducks!”
Currently, Jerry is the President & CEO of FSIC, Inc., a consulting group that helps restaurant groups reduce cost of goods up to 10%, and ensure a consistent guest experience with comprehensive supply chain visibility and analytic support services. Jerry's company has Compliance Analytics platform called Intellispend that enables the quick and efficient analysis of data to maximize profitability.
James joins FSI: Operator Edition with over 30 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. Originally from Hawaii, James grew up commercial fishing with his family and helping cook for family luaus. This passion for the freshest products and cooking for others guided him to the hospitality industry. Classically trained as a chef, James has worked in every position in the restaurant industry as well as at the executive level. Most recently James was executive Vice President of a restaurant group on the west coast with over 15 brands from QSR to fine dining, overseeing operations, supply chain and R&D.

It was James’s last 15 years being responsible for supply chain that connected him to Jerry Wilhite. The need for a partner to provide the visibility operators require, along with rebate, restitution, top spend SKU tracking, YOY spend and contract management is why James never missed COGS goals in 15 years with FSIC as his partner.
